Kilian Jornet and his life, mountains

Kilian Jornet presented the film whose name is "Let me live" where he explains how is his day to day is on the mountain. This movie has been guided by director the Seb Montaz and the film will be able to bring at all the news-stands from 10 euros.

This year, Kilian Jornet has been elected the adventurer of the year by the magazine National Geographic. Kilian Jornet wants to go up and down the big mountains (Everest, Aconcagua, Montblanc…) doing the least possible time.

Apart of practicing running, he practices the mountain skiing (this sports is a form of skiing that consist in walking up to the top of the mountain and skiing down) during the winter season. 

In my opinion, I think that Kilian Jornet is an idol for many people since he is a modest person and not materialistic. Moreover, his ideas about the nature and the environment are totally accepted because he wants a better world, in other words, he believes that men should stop damaging it and provoke less pollution and we should care about nature, which is our life.

Racism and sport

A few days ago, the football world was responding to a racist attack in a football stadium. Specifically, when the Brazil international and Barcelona player, whose name is Dani Alves, got a banana which someone had thrown it from the public. He wasn't angry or felt bad but he ate the banana. The fan who made the racist gesture will not be able go into the stadium of the club Villarreal again.

The reaction of the other people (anonymous people, famous athletes, the FIFA president…) was to support Dani Alves’s gesture by uploading videos, photos in internet and so on. In our high school, for example, an event was organized which consisted in all of us had to eat a banana in the school yard. This new was published in the newspaper whose name is "El nou 9" and the other media in Osona.

In my view, I believe that humans aren't yet socialized with about topic because many people don’t tolerate the other cultures or ways of doing things.

Finisher Non-stop

Hey, dear bloggers!

On the 27th April the University from Vic organized an obstacle race whose name is Finisher Non-stop. Finisher Non-stop is an athletic race both natural and artificial obstacles are located along a route where the participants have to have the technical qualities and physical ability to overcome the  various obstacles that they can find.

A remarkable fact of this race is the humour that creates among participants. For example, many of them dress up or make up their face. 

Everyone who wants to participate in this race despite a very good in shape is required and necessary.  In case of the participant isn't fit, she or he can always choose the short route, in other words, 8 kilometres of distance. 

Some of the more typical obstacles  of this race are the pond mud, to climb some pillars of straw, to run in a totally dark area or to run over some cars tires.

In the near future, I would like to practise it with my friends because one can spend some very good free time. In addition, it would be a new activity for me since I've never participated in event like this. Apart from that, I also encourage to participate in this course all people who like sports especially running.

Byebye Tata Martino

Hi today I will writing about the coach of Football Club Barcelona, Gerardo Martino, aka Tata Martino. Moreover I'm trying to criticize his training system, his way of playing football and his irregular period in this club.

Firstly, I think that the players of this team are unmotivated and they have lost the illusion. This fact has been caused by the football system which is used by Tata Martino.

On the one hand, these players during this years haven't got a regular period, in others words, they have played some good matches and bad ones. They can lose against good teams and win against the best ones. For example, Barça won against Real Madrid making a great game with many goal occasions. 

Although the Tata period is finishing, if they will get and win the Liga BBVA, the criticism of fans  will can change since people will be able to recognise his sacrifice and work for this club.

About the future of the coach, I believe  that this year will be the last one for Tata Martino because I think that he has another job offer from another part of the world, such as Russia or America. However, he leaves few tracks about his future at the press conference, for example he has said: "I'm not leaving no mystery, I am saying that I will fulfill my contract, period. I am a type of word that will fulfill his contract."

On the other hand, I think a change of coach can be very good for the team because they need to rediscover their stile of play and the way that they play football. 

Another reason that I think helped the things are going like this is because this year the club has internal problems at the institutional level, such as a change of Barça's president. 

The eternal genious

Today I will write an article on Tito Vilanova. Last week he died in Barcelona having only 45 years age a because of cancer he never could overcome it. His illness forced Tito to leave as football coach and he focus on the care of his disease. For example, he went to Paris and United States to find a more effective and suitable treatment. However, he lost sadly this big fight against cancer.

When the victim of this disease died, he has left a big mark among fans of the sport, football fans and Barcelona's fans. Immediately in Catlonia and generally around the world, there were many condolences reactions to Tito Vilanova. As the big football clubs or small football clubs showed great empathy. For example, the president of Real Madrid wrote an official statement on their website and the football club Chelsea sent various tweets showing condolences.Others samples of condolences that the world that were made were all the minutes of silence in memory of him.

Another fact was to see the reaction of Tito's friends, especially Pep Guardiola. he said at the press conference "The sadness that I feel it will go with me all my life '. Also Jordi Roura who made a letter and he read it the day of his funeral. 

Barcelona Football Club fit out a space in Camp Nou. There, the people who wanted to say goodbye could leave some bouquets and flowers petal.  Then, if you wanted, you could write a message inside the book which will be delivered to his family.

On 28 April it was celebrated the funeral of Tito Vilanova in the Barcelona Cathedral. The ceremony was open to all and around 1500 people were there. In addition, the mass was recorded and it passed on various television channels, such as TV3 or Barça TV.

Extreme Life

Hi people! Today I'm writing about base jumping. It's a parachuting method and it's considered the most dangerous extreme sport. Nevertheless, the odds of dying while practising this sport are low since the statistics says and shows 1 person in every 35000 people who jump with parachute die.

To practice this sport, you need to have a good parachute and a special equipment, for example, another parachute for replacement. However, it isn't obligatory to have it. Also, you need to have a healthy lifestyle and be in shape and haven't got a disease or illness.

Sometimes these extreme sports have negatives consequences, For example, a couple from Barcelona wanted to celebrate their honeymoon jumping with parachute in National Zion Park, in USA.

The fact was that the man saw his wife fell to the land after jumping while he jumped with her. He tried to catch his wife but he couldn't catch her. Then, he called the emergency services and they had to look for her. The next day, the emergency services found the corpse. 

This unfortunate story makes you think about what life really is because you can think that it's better not to practice any extreme sport in order not to die or you can choose not to make any extreme activity not to suffer any pain or to live overprotected.

In my opinion, I think that humans have done everything that we like before dying because we have the right to have fun and enjoy life. So, in my case I would always do a risk activity as long as I'm feeling safe to do this activity and know the consequences.

Way to Lisbon

On Tuesday I went to Barcelona to Camp Nou to see the football match between Barça and Athetico of Madrid. The match started at 8:45 pm  like all matches in the Champions League. During the first half of the match, Atletico of Madrid took very aggressive in the field but the things changed quickly since Piqué injured his hip and after a few moments Diego Costa also injured his leg. As the minutes were passing, Barça dominated the match more than Atletico and they came more times to the opponent area.

During the second half of the match, Barça kept the ball but at minute 55 Diego scored a wonderful goal. With the result against Barça, Martino changed Cesc by Alexis. From this moment, Barça created goal chances and finally Neymar scored a beautiful goal.
 
For me, the best player of the match was Andrés Iniesta. He played extremely well and he was unbalanced in front of the rival. Moreover, he gave the goal attendance to Neymar and they could tie the match.

This result  means that both teams can dream to get the ticket to the semifinals of the Champions League. Next week, they are going to  play the second match and we will know who is the winner of quarterfinals of Champions League.

On the other hand, there will have another important matches of Champions League like Dormund- Real Mardid, Chealsa-Paris and Bayern Munich-Manchester United. And the best four teams will way to Lisbon to arrive in the final on 24 May.

So, I hope we are going to see a fantastic and fabulous football match on Wednesday.

Formula 1

Hi, how are you? I hope you very well!!!

Today I'm writing about Formula 1. Last week Formula 1 started  in Australia in the Albert Park Circuit. The teams still need to improve their technical and mechanical problems to get the maximum possible points for the championship.

In this Australian Grand Prix the winner was Rosberg while Alonso was fourth and Sebastian Vettel eighteenth. He's an unexpected winner since everyone had expected that the big winner was from a great team like Vettel or Alonso.

Apart from this, I would like to comment the female pilots who have passed to the Formula 1. There are 2 types of pilots:

• Official pilots: in this case, the pilots who run all the races.
• Professional pilots: in this case, these pilots run only in the training race before the race or in the trainings.

This year, there is a woman who is going to participate in Formula 1, whose name is Susie Woff, she is going to drive a car in the trainings. Nowadays, she is part of Williams Racing, one of the most important motor-racing teams of Formula 1 together with Ferrari,  Mc Laren, Mercedes and Red Bull racing.

In this "category"   has also been another female pilot whose name is María de Villota. Nowadays she is dead as a consequence of her car accident while she was doing some event race to her race-team. Since then, she lost an eye and as a consequence he had to quit Formula 1 since she didn't have the similar vision than she had before the accident.

Next week there will be Formula 1 in Malaysia Grand Prix. Pilots have already felt like showing their talent in this Grand Prix. I recommend you not to miss the race!!! Here is the circuit where pilots are going to race this weekend. So, you can feel like that from the beginning!!!

Adventure sports

Hi, How are you doing?

Today I'm witting about adventure sports.If you have a lot of free time in the different stations of the year, you can practise the adventure sports in Osona!!!

You can choice about them:
  

• La Selva d'aventura: is an adventure park situated in Arbúcies, province of Girona.  There you can practise a adventure way with different obstacles and zip-lines.

• You can play as a Tarzán in La Selva d'aventura, it's a funny activity for children, young people and adults people.

•  7 d'aventura: it's a company where you can practise different adventure sports such as:
• Quads
• Paintball
• BTT
• Orientation
• Seway
• Team Building
• Archery

You can come here with your friends and you have to choose the sport and only enjoyed it.

•  Osona Globus: Osona has characteristics of her region with diverse landscapes of great beauty and an important history that is in all cultural resources, and the peculiarity of territories among themselves and with different traits individuals.

The problem from this activity are the money since if you want to go with a balloon you have to pay a big quote.

• Club Nàutic Vic-Sau: in this natural space you can practise some water activities in the Sau marsh, for example,  fishing,  windsurf or canoeing.

In general, activities aren't very expensive, you only need to book with advance time and certainly you will enjoy  about it!

• Centre de Doma d'Osona: in this case, you can do an activity on horseback and enjoy this sport.

Although you never practise this sport, you can try to make this experience and it's probable that you will like it!!!

Festa de l'esport Vigatà

Last month it was celebrated La Festa de l'Esport Català 2014 in Vic, specifically in the room Ramón Muntanyà of Atlàntida theatre. There, there was different highlights athletes and the sports organizations too.

The winners received a prize and recognition but  also all nominated athletes from Osona who had won a championship title Catalonia, Spain and Europe title. 

As an important people who participated in this event are people as the councillor of sports, Montserrat Rovira or the sports deputy from Barcelona, Josep Salom.

Some champions featured were:

• Marta Gonzalez: the swimmer was the best athlete of the absolute category. She participated in world swimming and won important trophies  from Catalonia and Spain.
• Núria Peix: won the women's singles. Winner of different triathlons of Catalonia. 

Barça and Mardid are no longer the centre of the world

Secondly, I write about the result of this question that is interesting.

Although Vic is near Barcelona (60km more or less) Barça is the team of choice for many people. Nevertheless,   there is a noticeable difference with the likes of teams from Europe. 

Bayern, Chelsea, Juventus and Borussia Dormund  are teams in Europe that have been voted in my survey. This fact can make us think about 2 hypothetical situations, one of them is about the two coaches who left both Barça and Madrid- With them, some fans follow more European football teams. And the other hypothetical idea could be that Spanish football isn't unique or special in europe since there are   very good teams and very competitive, for example, last year the Champions League final was between two German teams.

Chess, a sport?

So,  first of all I discuss about the result of of this question. It is surprising because many people do not know if chess is considered a sport.  So, there is an ignorance about this topic.

However, chess is considered a sport although it isn't Olympic.

In my opinion, I think that the media should talk more about this one because people know what this is really a sport. Furthermore, it is considered an art, and a science.

Although there isn't physical effort, there is a mental effort of player.  She or he has to think about the movements and strategy to win the rival.  So you need to think a lot if you win the chess games.

The situation of Fcb

Today I'm writing about the internal problem of Football club Barcelona. In particular, I’m talking about Sandro Rosell. He resigned last week in the press conference room.

He and his friend, Joan Maria Bartomeu, announced his decision. Finally, Bartomeu is going to be the new president from 2014 to 2016.

About this situation,  some people aren't comfortable with the Neymar's singing since it was  thought that this singing had cost 57 million of euros, but it seems that it cost about 97 millions of euros.

From my point of view I believe that if a person resigns about his or her position, there are a lot of possibilities that this person is corrupt.

Probably, this incident doesn’t affect the players because they have good professionals like a psychologist and physical therapist. For example, Neymar went to Sagrada Familia with his friend and he admired this building built by Antoni Gaudí.

In addition, he published that he will visit some monuments in this big city, Barcelona like la Pedrera, the Güell Park or the Olympic Stadium. So, can get distracted  with that.

The Dakar!!!

Today I'm wrtting about Dakar. This year the hard rally has finished in 19th January.  Today I'm talking about the winners of the diferent categories.

Probably they will have suffered all the consequences that there are in the race. However, the pilots who are better than others have a bigger team, for example, more massage therapist, mechanics or doctors.

So, the classification is:

Cars category: 

•  Nani Roma won this category!

Motorbike category: 

• Marc Coma won this category!

• Laia Sanz also won this female category althoug she participated in the male category.

Truck category: 

• Andrey Karginov win this category!

Nani  Roma, who won the dakar, is very glad with the second victory of the rally.

Apart of the classification, I'd like to emphasize about the falls.  Some Pilots had to leave the Dakar because a lot of them had suffered an accident. For example, Roma's wife, whose name is Rosa Romero, abandoned the race and she was very unhappy.
